bloomers, w**d, rhode + hi i'm on substack now

some of the things i’ve been putting into my purse, ears, mouth (and more) so far this fall.

bottoms: my charlie beads bloomers are too good not to mention. white donni bubble crop pants are a weekly wear. a bronze age street pants possess the ideal scandi pj vibe. pink brooke callahan pants are so sweet you’ll get a cavity.

sniff: i’ve worked my way through an entire merge balmy summer roll on perfume. i’m an end of summer-denier so this fragrance keeps the dream alive, plus i get complimented every time i wear it.

sculpt: the kid sister gua sha is by far the best facial tool i've ever used. it doesn't break me out, it's easy to clean, and has a nice weight to it. if i have a jawline in 30 days from now, she’s to thank.

into the fridge: months ago i chatted with katie stone about my favourite topic ever, food. before moving i was able to encapsulate my sweet kitchen and give her a behind the scenes peek into my pantry staples and wellness routines, a stark contrast to the micropantry/mini fridge combo that i’m working with atm (more on that later).

read: i’m the last girl on earth to read the guest - and i happened to loved the ending. riley sager has been making spooky season even spookier. cleopatra + frankenstein was a sexy little HIT.

cheeky: i just entered HB’s orbit and am obsessed with the rhode pocket blush in sleepy girl (thank you ella). rms redimension hydra blush is the clean powder blush i deserve.

sip: loose leaf licorice root + peppermint whenever i need a cozy non-caf bev. hot water with fresh ginger, lemon + honey. maple maca cortados with rainbo forest juice. blue magnesi-om a la alexis, with hot water + a squeeze of fresh lemon.

watch: absolute beginners. a polish coming of age mini series on netflix that i ate the fuck up.

listen: crisp mornings call for moody music, this playlist has been a heavy hitter.

skin: dieux instant angel moisturizer is my dream of a transitional face cream. sidia body exfoliant gives me everything i’m looking for in a pre-shave scrub. sweet mint summer friday lip balm is the best of the SF balm family.

i’m really excited to set up shop in a tiny corner of the substack universe.

i’ve been paralyzed for a couple of months, feeling like i had to narrow the focus of my writing and zero in on just one topic before launching on this platform. zoom in on something like food, books, other niche things i can’t think of right now. but guess what baby, variety is the spice of life + i want a little bit of everything.

currently planning to share recipes, clothing roundups, personal memos, book + tv recs, Q+As, travel guides. the list is endless because i am endless! i’m in the midst of packing for paris, so travel content will likely be the first on the docket.
