outfit recipes for a wedding, a roadtrip, and a couple zoe kravitz dress dupes

i had my work cut out for me when packing for my most recent roadtrip. with many different climates and activities to account for, i needed to pack smart. i’ve gone wrong in the past, throwing in unnecessary pieces that go unworn, or packing so haphazardly that it’s impossible to put an outfit together. these days, i rely heavily on my ‘system’ that ensures zero hotel room meltdowns. i always write down my outfits/the corresponding activity, draft a master packing list, then shop my closet collecting my wares. for this trip, i threw travel clothes and toiletries into a tote, and LA outfits into a suitcase, which wasn’t opened until we got to the city. i’m proud to report that i wore 90% of my suitcase and felt 0% confusion on what to put on when getting dressed.
